Well I saw the first 19 ranger I have ever seen just driving around. Was that puke copper color and had FX4 on the bed.

Looked pretty cool but not cool enough to send me to the dealership! Would have been dangerous to get the camera out so you just have to take my word for it.  :)

I love that color. The Ford dealer here has one that color with a 5" lift

5" lift from the Factory... or dealer installed ?

I've seen a couple driving so couldn't take a pic.
They look better in person, BUT the price tag is killing me.

Also, thinking on these trucks, did the Name, "Ranger" get used in stead of the older name, "F100" ?
Wasn't Ford going to make a mid sized truck, a little smaller that the F150 and going to call it the "F100" ?

The Ford dealer by where I work has a couple on the front line out by the highway. I like the look of the truck, just not the price tag.

I stopped and looked at one a few days back. The local dealer is adding protective paint coating, nitrogen filled tires, lug nut locks, and chrome exhaust tips that they pre-install at premium pricing. They don't do that with the full sized trucks.

The pricing and it being a first year model will keep me away.

Saw one while door dashing, in the driveway of a mobile home retirement park.

Not looking good for Ford, they should have listened to the Ranger lovers.

IMHO... Ford screwed up ROYALLY when designing the Ranger.
I understand SALES but when there is a BIG BASE of Ranger owners, waiting to buy a new truck and the release of  the new Ranger, that was touted for a long time as the end all of small trucks, Ford fell flat on their face, designing a rig that looks like a car, suspension like a car, and priced it so far out of the reach of most buyers that the new truck can't help but fail.
Maybe that is what Ford wanted, produce just enough to stop the talk and fulfill their promise of a new Ranger, and then stop production because it IS a POS Truck.
I've read so many postings all over the Web about Ranger Sales being down, Ranger not living up to Ford expectations, that I am surprised it hasn't already gone away.
AND then there is the new Bronco, or will that be scrapped  before it makes it to market.  They have already pushed out the release date, is that to see where the Ranger Sales go ?

As stated above, too bad Ford didn't listen to the LARGE Ranger Owner Base, but then again when have they ever !

Yeah, typically, big corporations don't listen to their customer base.  Sometimes they do good, most times not.

I know what you are saying, too bad.
Personally, I hope it does fail as did other Ford Vehicles years back... we just need to survive the new Bronco.

Small Truck art selling as they use to, Chebbie isn't doing to bad with their Canyon but they didn't do away with the small truck completely as Ford and Chrysler did.

I guess we have to hope something comes together !

A grey FX4 showed up in the parking lot yesterday. It already has a UGA bulldog and a GOA sticker on it with the 30 day temp tag showing that it was purchased last Saturday. I am fairly sure it replaced the 2000 Lariat Supercab that used to park in that space.

It I had an extra FR sticker I would leave it under their windshield wiper...

The fact it has a GOA sticker, the guy can't be all bad. LOL

Leave a note under his wiper directing him to join FR, then he can talk to Jim about getting a sticker. :-)
