Last week I saw a les Schwab truck with blue chrome wheels. I only got a glance but they looked cool. So I searched up images for blue chrome wheels and found there are quite a few that offer blue chrome. While I was searching I found this place.

https://americanpvd.com

They claim they have a process similar to chrome but more durable. They also say they can do this to your factory wheels and offer various colors like black, gold, as well as blue.

What do ya think? Too much blue? Can do this to my stock wheels too.

Found an exhaust tip too. Lol

Would have to see it on, first impression is too much blue but you never know till they are on. Photoshop it to get an idea.

So a powder coat? My guess is just a shiny powder coating would work on wheels

Yeah, it's some kind of powder coat. I havent priced it yet so I have no idea if it's for super trick custom cars where money is no concern or if it's less than a new set of wheels and affordable for those who want to personalize their vehicles.

Ok I'm not too up to date on all the new products out but I'm getting familiar thanks in part to FR forums and youtube. My social life consists of co workers and home. Thats why I'm a bit behind. I come here to talk trucks. Ranger specifically, I soak it up!!!

So while I was looking at blue chrome wheels I stumbled on plasti dip for wheels. This looks interesting but I like things neet and clean. Maintaining plasti dip wheels looks like a maintenance headache. Guys are also plasti dipping whole cars too. It's about 10k cheaper than a paint job and easier to DIY than a wrap but you have to wash it with special soap and sponge. The only advantage to plasti dip is you can change your cars appearance for $400 and when you get tired of it you just peel it off with no damage to the paint underneath and rock chip protection.

I paid nearly 10k for my paint job and the guy did a   job for what I paid. That's why I've been looking in to wraps and plasti dip.
