|There is also the use of an aftermarket Three-Wire Harness and an earlier Computer, say a Mustang Setup; then there is no PATS ! Also, using an older model 5.0 Manual Trans Computer allows you to select different transmissions, than something the computer wants to see !
My '88 5.0L Swap, used a '93 Computer from a manual trans Mustang, I ended up with a C4 Auto but could have selected a number of different transmissions.
Just a different point of view and IF you intend to get this vehicle Inspected... then there is another set of rules to go by !
2003 EDGE, Std Cab, Steppie, E4 Red, 5sp, 4x
5" SuperLift, 33" x 12.50 x 15"
Mod'd Backrack to fit Steppie
Front and Rear Bumpers by Custom 4x4 Fabrication, OK; now Mike's Welding and Fabrication.
Working on more Mods, just need more time, longer days would work !
