Lol - we even have these in the UK - little LEDs in the shape of an arrow flash with the indicators (turn signals) - useful to overtaking traffic if they have passed your rear lights so they can swerve out of your way :'(

These were only available on the very limited ford Ranger Thunderbolt broduced by ford and roush. They are signal mirrors, they had led signal arrows that flash with your blinkers. 

I think it' funny when you read the DMV instructional guide to learning how to drive and it clearly states that the use of a turn signal is "ONLY the asking for the adjacent lane", another driver [usually in an non-destructive but however, asshole manner] DOES NOT have to give you the lane...


Which begs the question of why some policy enforcement will go the distance to write a ticket for making a [illegal, hahahha] lane change for not using a turn signal. Statutory codes are very often conflicting and contradictory to all things common sense.
