I have the relocation fitting on my block and can't find many articles on where to put the other half. I own both a single and dual filter block. Would rather run the dual and a lower micron filter that doesn't flow as well but 2 in parallel might be the trick.

So where do others put the filter?

in the path of the air from your fan if you can swing it!
I have my FL1A remote mounted below the drivers headlight hanging off the radiator support, the airflow from the engine fan passes over the filter. Also it is super easy to change it there and catch any oil

Cool I can almost see it when you get a chance can you post a pic? I'll be doing it this weekend so there is time.

If I EVER get this thing finished, I'm heading right in to the 4WD.

And if I'm still alive after that and can still move around I would like to find another 2WD single cab steppie somewhere south. I have a niece in Arizona and a son in Florida. I believe I'm going to enjoy the 2WD better but want to learn more by the first 2 conversions.

I bet as many as you have done you just "go to it" lol.
