The dies are what is expensive. I have a neighbor that has a Bridgeport but only a dozen or so dies. He is retired ME and picked it up when the company he worked for went CNC.
I like that... buying for scrap prices.
I had the chance a number of years ago, to buy a Bridgeport with 200 hours, for $1500, I should have but didn't think I would have a need for it !
Something you said... "Dies", what are the Dies used for on a Milling Machine ? Thx
I thought it was just a matter of moving the table in the direction you want to cut ?
