Its dirty and needs cleaned. Bolts right on. Looks way better when you cut the mounting tabs off of each side.

Hmmm what are the mounting holes for? I have seen a million things and have never seen one of those.

My guess would be and independent rear suspension.

OK cool I understand the concept I just have never seen it. Could bolt a big ford-rangers.com emblem to it, maybe a custom stabilizer system? Additional shock absorbers maybe I kinda like it, fits my "not usual" nature.

LOL no I meant I'll use the 2 screw holes for 2 J hooks. Humor.

I don't want to cut them off, I'll polish it up and put 2 large stainless socket heads in the holes until I figure out what to do with it. I'll take it this will be cool.

We have a parts washer and a bead blaster, don't know if I want to tumble it, polish it or paint it will make that decision when I hold it in my hand. I'll PM you. Again LOL.

For comparison, here's the same part after being trimmed down and painted.

The large drain plug is handy but the fill hole in the IRS cover should not be used to set the fluid height -  it's too low to provide adequate lube to the wheel bearings when used in a non-IRS application. Fortunately, the correct level can be set using the original fill plug on the diff housing instead.

I'm interested in the intake. I am also interested in the mustang rear disk brake conversion. Although is it possible to use it on a 2005?

I have a pic of this exactly still in use somewhere .. I think.  EDIT:: I lied, I must have deleted it in irrelevancy

What color are the door panels? and over the years I know some changes have been made. Anyone able to elaborate on what exactly?

I thought about it.... uhhh.... no.

I could mount a couple of the spare tensioners I have in the holes.

Or machine a big fancy aluminum bar with fins and pockets and tapped holes, engrave it "the tractionator" and claim it adds traction. I bet some would believe it.
