 I was looking at a walker 40573 that keeps on coming up in searches for 2001 explorer exhaust. The angles look right and the pipe size looks right but I don't have one in front of me to measure.

Of course it says "will not fit" but I imagine that is because of lack of cats.

Has anyone tried one on a 5.0 ranger or can anyone get a few more numbers than what I can dig up? Even if you had to cut and weld it most of it is there and I can get them here at work for less than 60 bucks. I know I'm a cheap ass but it would save tons of work if it was close.

 diesel application. Ford 7.3. I'm going to order one through the company, measure it and return it if needed.

If it is even close I'll cut and weld it.

I did find a guy with a 2001 expo 5.0 and he don't need the pipes so I'm getting that, but I have 2 5.0 projects.

 I just ordered one to measure. I can send it back if it isn't even going to be close. If the pipes and flanges are the right size I can make it work the angles look really close to the outlets on the 5.0.

 It is in. The tubes are the right size. The flange clamps will work. Looks like the pass side is at the right angle. The driver side will have to be cut and welded.

Now I have to jack up the truck and crawl under it unless I can get some help pushing it to the lift at work.

Will need to weld some bungs for O2 sensors. I am at least 50% sure it will work with minimal welding.
