Yeah, can't see this being too affordable as a spare vehicle.
Ford has been pretty clear about that. The new ranger is for people who want a full size but perhaps don't have room, or don't quite need the size. It's designed and marketed to be a all around rig. Hence the crew cab.
If it's priced along side the canyon and Tacoma it'll be mid 20s base, and high 30s loaded.
The 10 speed won't add huge cost. It's in everything rwd ford produces, and was a joint venture with gm so ford didn't fit the bill alone
