The air flow runs through the AC radiator regardless of that system being on.Not sure what it was, but reading this something just clicked, a quick Google search now makes me think my blend door actuator is dead, which I really hope is the case. Now I need time to tear my truck apart...
The blend door runs a bypass of the heater core, so whilst wiring might be possible (at least based on the 3 stooges connection session) it still sounds like the door is either getting hung up, or just isn't working fully.
