Actually, I like the hood pins. I'm an old fart, and I remember the Mach I's, Barracudas and such that had the factory hood pins. Loved them! Ya know, although it is pretty dirty, that upholstery looks like it is in good condition and might clean up really well. Pulling it out so you can get to everything better is the best way to go. You'll get there, it will just take some time.
