yes its going to be in the wiring! The 5.0 PCM controls the fuel pump relay. The fuel pump relay gets its power from the fuel pump fuse.
The 2000 Explorer PATS does not disable the fuel pump, it disables the injectors. However the 2000 Explorer computer MUST be happy for this truck to run, so you are going to need to do some wiring
Do you have the original chip key that came with the 2000 explorer?
Did whomever did this swap add the pats components to the 97 Ranger?
