I can yes for sure
The whole housing is pre heated for this and then the welds are done in sections so you do not warp a tube.
However I've wheeled pretty hard and I've wheeled with some pretty built rigs, axle tubes only break the plug weld and spin on the heavier rigs (4 door explorers) and when they are fighting for traction. A ranger on 33-35" tires would be hard pressed to spin a tube on the 8.8 31 spline. It is my opinion it is not really needed unless you are doing some hard core stuff and at least 35's and a locker.
When the axle gets back from the gear install I plan to weld the tubes on this truck AND your 07.... that way you guys can have peace of mind
