x2 on the blue

What's wrong with crager? just curious

Crager had pealing chrome issue in the 80's. I had 2 out of 4 that had the pealing in less than a year. Crager weaseled out of the warranty.  I carried all 4 wheels with me on a military exercise at Ft. Bliss. I was part of the Advance Team and I carried them across the border where they were stripped, trued, and black chromed. They even machined the center cap with the Ford oval logo and painted the oval Ford blue. They did this for about the price of a new Crager including the two days of a rent-a-wreck car rental (which was actually more than what the wheel work cost). When I sold the truck in 05 the wheels still looked new. It was a 78 F100 Ranger 400M 4-speed, 4:11 posi rear/spool front, with a factory 3"lift on the Crager 15x10 with 35's.

Anytime I get bent over by a company I tend to never do business with them again.  Other brands I will never buy again are Uniroyal tires, Dodge trucks, Mini Cooper (or anything English), and a few others that allude me at the moment.
