On electric fans also look at the Volvo electric fan setup. I had a set on my 99 F150 and it freed up a few HP and helped a little with highway mileage. I had one fan wired to come on with air conditioning compressor where it seemed to help with the AC.

If you do go with electric fans install a manual over-ride to turn power off if you are wading water and also set one up with a manual over-ride to turn power on to one of the fans if needed.
