If you have oil pressure chance is the cam sensor is at least spinning
A broken cam sensor is not supposed to cause a no start condition (no spark), but I am not so sure on these later models (98 and newer) there has been a time or two when I suspected it was the cause and did find a bad cam sensor
I have never had a OHV timing chain break
