The big aluminum bracket is bolted down with through bolts....right to the floor. Works great!
Don't forget you also need some clearance for the arm rest to go back when its in the up position.
I have a small collection of these consoles, tan, brown, grey, dark grey and black...

The one in my Ranger is Black, I removed the Pad because it was too high, and I have a grey one from an Explorer , a Sport Console that has a Bag for the Compartment area.An Interesting concept.

Thinking of either building one out of aluminum sheet, or maybe looking at the metal ones that Jeeps are using, can't remember the name on 'um !
