Most people don't know/realize what dogs are actually allergic to or what foods are actually bad for them. I used to put garlic in my dogs food because "it helps keep their coat shiny" when in reality you could be slowly poisoning your dog. And, this may come as a surprise, but even though foods can hurt/kill dogs, those same foods are in dog foods (I checked). My dog has a sensitive stomach, so I have to be careful. If you've stayed with one brand/type of dog food, cross reference it with the list of food here that is bad for your dog:

Also, do you use rodent repellent stuff or insect repellent stuff in the house? She could've gotten into that or eaten a mouse/bug that had ingested the poison. Best wishes man.
