Thank you for posting the plate drawings.
I think the biggest problem I had during my swap (not yet completed) is the purchasing of the appropriate motor mounts and a good source for said mounts.
My project was born with a 2.5L (2000 model) and I have bought about a half dozen mounts total and have not yet come up with a good number for the left mount.
As it sits I have adjusted (milled and slotted) my aftermarket mounting plates to adapt to the stock 2.5L motor mount on the left side. The stock 2.5 mount on mine has a downward dip in it so using the shim (reference your standoff plate) was necessary to get the motor level.
It was still a stretch and I had to tilt the left mount toward the outside of the truck (further left) in order to get the studs through the hole in the plate even though it was altered.
I'm wondering if there were several different iterations of the 2.5L mounts and placement from 1998 to 2000 being I have read stories where the swapper wrote "I used my 2.5 mounts and it dropped right on even with the cast aluminum oil pan" to ones that said "You must use the stamped steel pan" to ones that said "just buy part number YL5Z-6038-CA for the left mount and everything will be OK" which is the same as the one that says "Buy the 4.0 mounts"
So you stating that the 4.0 and 2.5 aftermarket mounts are the same I have concluded also though I did not know the 3.0 mounts were the same.
Do you have a good part number and a vendor for people wanting to do this swap?
