It was an 86 turbo rotary 5 speed red. Was a bad little car. I bought it for $500 ,clutch was smoked in it. I got it when I was 17 traded it for 1988 Thunderbird turbo coupe 5 speed and for how big that car was that thing would run. A kid in my class had an 80's model Camaro iroc z  that he thought was the baddest thing around. The old 2.3 bird would run circles around pos
that lil RX7 with a 13B setup would rip.. So light. I'm a huge advocate of the FD more than the 2nd Gens but.. Maybe next year or two I could entertain throwing some cash for a unmolested FD 3rd Gen...

Maybe it was a 87 turbo t2 ? Maybe 86 converted ? . S4 turbo Rx7's ran 87-88 ,s5 was 89-91 . 92 was the last year of the fc in vert style non turbo .... just remembered lol . Light they  are . I've got my 87 2nd gen down to around 2400lbs . With around 420-450 hp, weight to horse power ratio is real nice . I'm a 2nd gen guy myself of course but my dream build for my wife is a 3rd gen . Price are going up just like the 2nd gens and for a Unmolested 3rd 🤦🏻‍♂️

I know.. $30K+ in some cases right up there with early to mid 90's NSX and Supra MK IV.. Insane what those cars are asking for now a days. I've got a buddy that has a 95 NSX, COMP S/C just a   hair shy of 500hp... Sick I'd sell a testicle or kidney for it..!
