|There would be a few small PITA's, brake lines, emergency brake cables, wiring if you didn't take the entire length from the long bed.
I wouldn't hesitate to lengthen a driveshaft myself especially an aluminum one. I think I would even drive it first to see if it vibrates and if it did have it balanced but chances are it would not. They really don't rotate that fast. Less than 5,000 rpm at 80MPH and that's with a 4.10 rear end. Slower for 3.73.
