As the subject mentions, will a 275/60r15 fit on a 15x10? I've read MANY conflicting statements..."That's one of the most common set ups on our mustangs"....."No don't it will stretch the tire and ruin the sidewalk engineering"....well. I've looked, and the 275 is 10.8 inches wide...that should be good on a 15x10? Manufacturer says 7.5-9.5

Assuming that Chart 1 represents OEM wheel:
  [th]Suspension clearance:[/th]

[th]Fenders clearance:[/th]

[th]Wheelwells clearance:[/th]

[th]SPEEDOMETER:[/th]

Package 2 is 22 mm (0.9'') closer to suspension/brakes components. Make sure that you have enough room for that. If not, consider lower offset, narrower tires or using spacers.
Package 2 will stick out 38 mm (1.5'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.
Will fill out the wheelwell by extra 27 mm. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider lower profiles or smaller rims.
When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 64.8mph (104.3km/h): 8% faster.

I have the wheel and offset part figured out, but was just wondering if a 275/60r15 would fit a 15x10. Like it would be "stretched" or anything. Reason I ask is because the man. Recommendations is 7.5-9.5 and I figured the extra 1/2" wouldnt make a huge difference

I'd say make a call to the tire company if interest and get your answer straight from the horses mouth. If you know how to falk to people should have no issues getting in touch with a tech and getting the answers you need and maybe more information.

...why...the hell...didn't I think of that...... Well, that's a great idea instead of me just trying to finger it out lol thanks man. Sometimes I over-think stuff and forget to think about the simple things.

Well I'd like to say that's why I make the big bucks but, then I'd be obligated to back that up and well.. there's somethings that just exist and without proof.. it's all a big mess really lol
